A song, a companion Music Remedy, and the question at the heart of The Book of Manifestation

By Iris J Chapman

When Everything Is Speaking, Who Is Listening?

Picture someone who is always informed. The phone is never far away. They know the latest headline, the newest opinion, the warning everyone is sharing today. When something buzzes, they answer. When someone asks how they’re doing, they say, “Busy, but on top of it.”

Inside, it’s a different story. Every alert feels urgent. Every opinion feels like it needs a response. The body has been sending signals for months, tension, poor sleep, a tiredness rest doesn’t fix, but those messages get lost under everything else. There is so much input and so little clarity.

They are receiving everything. But are they hearing anything?

That is the question behind my song, “I Forgot How to Listen,” and the companion ebook I’ve written to go with it. And it leads straight into the question I spent an entire book exploring: You are already manifesting. Is it good?

The Song: “I Forgot How to Listen”

“I Forgot How to Listen” moves through a world of static: alerts flashing everywhere, threats moving through the gates, an endless feed, and gateways left wide open to every sound. Then, beneath the flood, a quiet whisper breaks through.

But the song isn’t only about overwhelm. It’s about the Sentinel’s office, the watchman within, associated with the tribe of Gad, who was promised not a life without raids, but the strength to overcome at the last. When the Sentinel awakens, it doesn’t silence the world. It learns which voices matter.

One line sums it up: “Not every voice deserves a throne.”

How to listen: Don’t just follow the story. Listen for the static. Then ask yourself:

What voice have I been allowing to govern me—and does it deserve that authority?

Write down your first answer without correcting it. You’re gathering information.

The Ebook: I Forgot How to Listen, an 18-ChakraVerse Music Remedy

A song can raise a question. The ebook helps you answer it.

I Forgot How to Listen: The Sentinel Chakra — The Watchman Within is a practical guide to recognizing signals, evaluating warnings, and choosing what receives access to your Inner Kingdom. Inside, you’ll find:

  • When everything demands your attention: why more information doesn’t automatically produce more wisdom.
  • The office of the Sentinel: the watchman within, Gad’s blessing, and why guardianship is not sovereignty.
  • The eight vertices of the cube: how Source governs the structure while you learn to govern your response.
  • Discernment is recognition, not suspicion: how fear can imitate wisdom and comfort can imitate truth.
  • When the watchman gets it wrong: the false alarm, the missed warning, the unavoidable event, and the unexpected outcome.
  • Notice, Examine, Evaluate, Choose: a four-movement practice, six reflection questions, and a One Pattern worksheet to use with the song.

The point isn’t to become suspicious of everything or to tune the world out. A signal is information, not a command. A thought can be noticed without being believed. As the ebook puts it, the Sentinel awakens when you learn that you do not have to obey every sound.

How to Use All Three Together

  1. Listen. Play “I Forgot How to Listen” and write your first answer to the listening question.
  2. Examine. Work through the ebook and its One Pattern practice to separate what you know from what you fear, and what belongs to your jurisdiction.
  3. Evaluate the fruit. Read The Book of Manifestation: You Are Already Manifesting. Is It Good? to look at what your responses have been producing, and how to construct your life consciously.

You don’t have to quiet the whole world this week. Start by noticing. A signal is information, and what you do with it is part of your development.

From “Who Deserves the Throne?” to “Is It Good?”

“I Forgot How to Listen” asks which voices you allow to govern you. But whatever we let through the gates, we act on, and whatever we act on bears fruit. So the next question follows naturally:

What are the voices you obey producing?

That is the question at the center of The Book of Manifestation: You Are Already Manifesting. Is It Good?, Book One of The 18-ChakraVerse series.

Most manifestation teaching starts with what you want. This book starts somewhere else: with what you are already creating. Every decision, habit, relationship, and response is participating in the construction of your life. You don’t have to learn to manifest. You are already doing it. The real question is whether the fruit is good.

In Genesis 1, God looks at what has been made and calls it tov, good. Creation includes evaluation. The Book of Manifestation invites you to bring that same standard to your own life:

  • What am I cultivating?
  • What am I sustaining?
  • What consequences am I producing?
  • How might conscious construction change my relationship with Source, myself, and others?

The book explores manifestation through biblical interpretation and personal responsibility. It looks at the relationship between Adam, humanity learning to govern its own choices, and Eve, the living technology of manifestation. And it teaches the seven capacities of Eve and the nine attributes of Adam.

If “I Forgot How to Listen” helps you notice what you let through the gates, The Book of Manifestation shows you what your responses are building, and how to build on purpose instead.

This isn’t another promise that positive thinking will deliver everything you desire. It’s an invitation to move from unconscious construction to conscious construction.

Get the books. Take the quiz. Manifest the life you want.
